A few days ago, the internet was shocked when two hashtags related to North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un trended worldwide.

The hashtag #KIMJONGUNDEAD trended at the top for days along with his name ‘Kim Jong Un’.

Netizens all over the world was sent ablaze and the news have been circulating online, even though there is no credible source.

TMZ first broke the news that the dictator is dead or “on his death bead with no hope for recuperation.” The report also said that he died due to a heart surgery failure.

Other news outlets picked it up and reported it as well, but the question remains. Is Kim Jong Un really gone?

According to Chung-in Moon, foreign policy adviser to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Kim Jong Un is alive and well.

“He has been staying in the Wonsan area since April 13. No suspicious movements have so far been detected.” Chung-in Moon told Fox News on Sunday.

When asked about Kim’s health, President Donald Trump said he could not discuss the matter.

“I do have a very good idea, but I can’t talk about it now. I just wish him well.” Trump said during a White House COVID-19 briefing.

Speculation about Kim’s health began to circulate after North Korea’s leader did not attend his grandfather’s birthday on April 15.

That day is considered to be an important national holiday and Kim Jong Un never missed it since his rise to power in 2011.
