Today, the biggest boy band on the planet just released their much anticipated album, Map of the Soul: 7, accompanied by a Kinetic Manifesto Film for the lead single “ON”.
According to the press release by Big Hit Entertainment last week, it is the official music video for “ON” and it best expresses the concept of the lead single. It showcases BTS like you’ve never seen them before and it did not disappoint.
The music video showcases what BTS is known for: intense and powerful choreography. If you’re not familiar with the septet, this video will definitely make you stan them. As of this writing, it already surpassed 1 MILLION likes and so far has 459,164 views and counting. BTS currently holds the title for the most viewed music video within 24 hours with their song “Boy With Luv”. All eyes are on the ARMY if they will be able to beat the previous record.

ARMYs all over the world are so hyped up, particularly on Twitter. It seems like everyone is on a BTS lockdown as hashtags related to the comeback are trending worldwide! For instance, 17 out of 20 hashtags are BTS related with #MAP_OF_THE_SOUL_7 having 1.17M tweets. Talk about a powerful, dedicated fandom right there.

BTS is currently in New York to promote their new album. Today, they will have a quick interview on NBC’s The Today Show.
Not only that, BTS will also appear on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on February 24. They will have a BTS special where Fallon takes the boys around New York City where they play games and eat and basically all the fun things you could do in NYC.
And finally, on February 28, we will see the much-awaited The Late Late Show with James Corden “BTS Carpool Karaoke” episode.
Fans have been hoping for this one IN A LONG TIME and for it to finally happen, it is a big deal since BTS is the first-ever Korean act to be featured on the segment. If you’re a fan of the show, you should know that only the best of the best are invited to carpool with Corden. Some of his notable guests are Adele, Coldplay and Justin Bieber.
On the same day, a second music video for “ON” will drop and we will be streaming. Hard.
Now that the album is out, what’s your favorite track? Let me know on the comment section below!
