Recently, a post from ABS-CBN’s Facebook page went viral after seeing a dog on a motorcycle wearing a helmet.

This is following the implementation of Republic Act 10054 or also known as, the Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009.

According to RA 10054: All motorcycle riders, including drivers and back riders, shall at all times wear standard protective motorcycle helmets while driving. Whether long or short drives, in any type of road and highway.

Anyone who will be caught breaking the law, will have to pay the fine.

Motorists will have to pay PHP 1,000 for the first offense. PHP 3,000 for the second offense; PHP 5,000 for the third offense; and PHP 10,000 for the fourth offense, plus you will have your license confiscated.

However, a lot of motorists are still seen breaking it. Even after the implementation of the “no helmet, no driving” policy.

The only one exempted in this policy are tricycle drivers.

As a result, even a dog is seen wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle with his owner.

A netizen named Anthony Aniscal who saw the incident in Tagbilaran City, Bohol uploaded the photo on social media.

Furthermore, a lot of netizens find the post super adorable, and they cannot help but also praise the owner for taking care of their furry friend.
