The guy drew his favorite anime characters ‘one piece’ during quarantine.
When community quarantine began, a guy decided to return to his passion for drawing. He draw the characters of ‘One Piece’ anime on the wall of his relative’s house, instead of drawing on paper, he draws.
His paintings on the wall went viral and now there are those who asks him for a drawing or painting job giving him an addition to his income.
We have seen and read many stories about Filipinos returning to the passion of drawing or painting since having community quarantine here in the country.
Compared to others, netizen Renan Leona Panganiban’s work is unique because instead of drawing on paper or canvas, he did the fantastic work on the cemented wall of a house.
Renan is from San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. He would have been working as a seafarer at an agency in Metro Manila last March when COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Instead of just bumming in their house and become sad because in the circumstances, Renan thought of returning to his passion for drawing.
Being fond of the anime ‘One Piece,’ Renan drew his favorite characters in the said anime on the very wall of his relative’s house.
Renan’s work is so amazing that the people seem to be alive character also because of his skill in drawn details and used colors.
He drew five characters that began before the pandemic and the others were drawn while in community quarantine.
Renan’s work went viral and some people are already asking him if it is willing to produce commissioned artworks. He said he was very happy because many people noticed his artwork.
“Nakakataba po ng puso sa mga nakaka appreciate… ‘Di ko po expected na magiging ganito.. Nagkaroon ako ng maraming clients nang di inaasahan.. Thank You po ng marami kay God,” saad niya sa isa niyang post.
According to the young man, this will also increase his income for his family’s expenses, especially since his OFW father has not been able to return home due to the pandemic.
